Hoffman the Tackling Bag
Is it just me or does Broncos fullback Josh Hoffman seem to get hammered a lot? He was the Shark’s tackling back on Friday night, before Wade Graham delivered a final blow which resulted in Josh being interchanged.

Give me Taylor any day…
Surprisingly, QLD have chosen Te’o in front of the coal train. He had a couple of bad games in there, but Taylor is a freak. NSW fans will feel like they have had an early victory not seeing him on the team sheet. There are rumours circling around regarding something off the field being awry with Taylor within the QLD camp (including an alternate story to ‘falling out of bed’). If there is any truth to this it would provide an explanation as to why he has been dropped. How will big Dave take it? He has been fired up by missing out on rep football in the past but missing out on this game would be a massive blow. With no more origin to play for this year, will he produce a deflated performance for Souths on Sunday?

TC Ink’s Backing:

This Friday night we see value in the Sharks. They seem to lift in the big games this year and have done well without their stars previously (beating the Storm without Gallen and defeating the Titans prior to origin 2). The Broncos pack has taken a battering and they have a weak bench, whereas the Sharks team looks much more solid overall. We’re taking the Sharks +2.5 at 2.10.
Good get to start the weekend! And the cricket tip makes it 2/2. Not 100% confident about this, but on Saturday night going to take the Knights -4.0 at 2.10.
Knights did the job for us, so 3/3 for the weekend! Let’s try and make it 4, another risky one but we’ll take the Dragons -6.5 at 2.15. I just have no faith in the Raiders, they have too many players out and their defense is paper thin.
