Cringe worthy Commentary
No we aren’t talking about Ray Warren’s now standard 6 name stuff ups per game or Phil Gould’s annoying rants and whinging or repeated yelling of words like “No” and “Dear oh dear”. This time it was Sterlo’s turn to make the nation cringe when he stated “that was a Humble mistake there” after Tom Humble knocked on. Sorry Sterlo, but you won’t last long in the lead commentary chair if you produce clangers like that on Sunday! Yes that’s right, Sterlo will be calling Parramatta vs Manly and it will be interesting to see how he goes after years of being the sidekick.
Friday Night Start Time Over/Under
The big question for Friday night’s game is how long will it take for the bloody game to start? Having only one Friday night game gives channel 9 a perfect excuse to unnecessarily delay the start time. Officially it has already been moved back to 7:45, but will they even make that? Doubt it. TC Ink predicts kick-off time to be 7:53, any betting markets offering an over/under?
Update: Game kicked off at 7:55, so close! But honestly, being 10 minutes late is so unprofessional. Channel 9 is a disgrace and hopefully they lose the rights.
TC Ink’s Backing:
We think the Tigers are crumbling and that the Dogs could win this one comfortably. No Farah for the Tigers. Canterbury to cover -8.0 at 2.10.
Got away with that one! Certainly wasn’t comfortable and we have the Bulldogs to thank for deciding to go for the try on that last play rather than a field goal. If you head over to our Twitter account you will see we also predicted the margin!
Despite the Titans having a couple of players on the sideline we think they are good value tonight. The Warriors were not convincing at all last week at home against a depleted Cowboys side. Titans +4.5 at 2.10.
Not right there, the Titans were horrible. No value in Sunday’s games and an update for Monday is forthcoming.
Late decision to take the Roosters +2.5 after hearing the news that Gallen, Best, Gordon AND Bukuya are all OUT.
