Australia Test Cricket Guide

The Australian cricket community is salivating for more Test Matches after a feast of some of the best Test Match cricket a lot of us will ever see. This Summer’s series victories against England and South Africa have been nothing short of spectacular; the sheer pace of Mitchell Johnson and the destructive batting of David Warner will not be forgotten.

Many will be disappointed to learn that Australia’s next Test is not for another 7 months. After toppling the number 1 team, there is no doubt a great hunger to go onwards to claim their position, but the reality is it isn’t likely for a while yet.

South Africa have fairly easy Test series’ coming up (Zimbabwe, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh), while Australia’s are a bit more challenging (Pakistan, India, West Indies, England). Australia would have to excel in all those series and then hope Sri Lanka can knock over South Africa in Sri Lanka in order to have chance of moving into the number 1 spot.
